Plenary (22 July): Australia's Democratic Innovations
Lisa Hill is a Professor of Politics at the University of Adelaide. Prior to that, she was an ARC Senior Research Fellow and a Fellow in Political Science at the Research School of Social Sciences, ANU. She is a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences of Australia. Lisa’s areas of interest are political theory, intellectual history, and electoral studies. She has written extensively on the topic of compulsory voting and other institutional mechanisms for enhancing electoral inclusion. She is co-author (with Jason Brennan) of Compulsory Voting: For and Against, New York/London: Cambridge University Press, 2014.
