OCIS01 International Theory

Session Chairs
Prof. Christian Reus-Smit

This session showcases leading edge theoretical work on international relations and global politics. It is open to papers from all schools of thought, as well as positive/empirical and normative theory, providing they engage questions of the ‘international’, broadly defined. Work that bridges theory in international relations, philosophy, and law is particularly encouraged, as is work that draws on theoretical insights from other disciplines to enrich theories of international relations. Papers in the history of ideas that engage contemporary debates in international theory are also welcome.
