This session welcomes papers on all fields of political theory and political philosophy including the history of political thought, normative political theory, analytical political philosophy, political ideologies, post-structuralism and other post-foundational methods of political theorising, democratic theory, applied ethics, international political theory, and comparative political thought. Papers examining the relationship between political theory and methodology will also be particularly welcome, especially those addressing specific practical problems, including those related to the Congress Theme: the impact of borders and margins on the development of contemporary political and social theory.
