From public interest groups and NGOs, to lobbyists, social media provides new tools for interest group outreach and mobilization, affecting the international arena and its institutions. Technology also challenges existing international arrangements in other ways, for example through the issue of Internet regulation. Within nations, social media allow us to study parliamentary discussions and to predict elections. These papers examine the impact of digital technologies on institutions and political behavior, in both national and international venues.
